“ I dined at Boccaccio Restaurant on a Saturday evening for a private family event. I had the privilege of meeting the chef who made our food - Luciano Schipano, who was a very kind and sweet man. I had antipasti and, chicken, broccolini and potatoes for my entrée. The antipasti was fresh and filled with plenty of different options, such as bocconcini cheese, zucchinis, mushrooms, olives, prosciutto, and plenty of seafood - all very fresh. The chicken dish was delicious very moist and flavorful, as well as the broccolini very well cooked the diced and roasted potatoes were dry and needed a little more sauce or oil! The house red and white wine were such big hits and would definitely recommend!! The staff were very kind and accommodating! The space was beautiful and perfect for our large group. Thank you Boccaccio team!! ”

“ We were very impressed with Boccaccio Ristorante! We went today for the Summerlicious lunch. The restaurant is very elegant and quiet. Our server (David) was absolutely wonderful. He was so pleasant and helpful. The delicious bread with a homemade extra-virgin olive oil was a nice touch and we had as starters the tuna salad with olives and assorted lettuces with a lemon vinaigrette and a yummy potato dish, our main course consisted of the linguine with the pesto and gnocchi with ricotta cheese, and mozzarella. Our desserts were also amazing. We enjoyed the lemon cake which was so fresh and the outstanding tiramisu. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and our server, David made it extra special! I would definitely go back again very soon! ”

“ Last night my husband and I had the distinct pleasure to dine at Boccaccio and be greeted by Chef Luciano himself. He provides personable service and delicious food that more than exceeded our expectations and dining experience as this was our first visit…and we will definitely go back! We enjoyed the small bites of spicy calamari and merluzzo, tuna salad and homemade pasta (it’s all made fresh any pasta) with seafood. The sauce was so on point! The olive oil with the complimentary warm buns is so authentic and produced in Calabria from Luciano’s family olive grove and honestly we would have been ok savouring this olive oil all night it was that good! Kudos to Luciano and the authenticity he and his staff deliver to stay true to the true flavours of Italian cuisine. Highly recommend! ”

“ Summerlicious visit, heard great reviews about this restaurant and its on point. Love the venue and the community. Staff is friendly and professional, food, service, ambiance and price is great.No doubt you'll have a great experience. It's worth a try. Update: Boccaccio has been operated under new management for a year now. It's been updated and upgraded. It's clean, bright, and airy. The 5* cuisine and service is impeccable. David , our server is amazing. We will be back to try more items on the menu. There are lots to see and do around Columbus Center. Take a walk and check out the statues. 2025 Summerlicious is on July 4th -20th. ”

“ A traditional Italian establishment inside a community centre, tough to find but has ample parking. The ambiance was warm & comfy and service was friendly. Prices for both food & wine are reasonable and have ample choices. Quality of food were good but nothing to write home about. It was expected for an older establishment. No surprises to give 5 stars. ”
